The TDX 2026 Call for Participation is now officially open, offering Salesforce developers, architects, and technical leaders an exciting opportunity to share their knowledge with a global audience. If you’ve ever wanted to speak on a big Salesforce stage, now is the time to start planning your session proposal.

Whether this is your first time presenting or you’re a seasoned speaker, TDX is a platform to elevate your profile, contribute to the Salesforce community, and share technical best practices with thousands of fellow Trailblazers.

    Table of Contents

    What Is TrailblazerDX

TrailblazerDX (TDX) is Salesforce’s premier developer conference focused on deep technical content, real-world implementations, and forward-looking innovations. Thousands of builders, engineers, architects, and product experts attend to learn from each other, explore new technologies, and push the boundaries of what’s possible on the Salesforce platform.

Unlike typical events, TDX thrives on community-led technical sessions, meaning your insights and practical experiences are the heart of the agenda. This makes the CFP a powerful opportunity to elevate your profile and contribute to the broader Salesforce developer community.

By speaking at TDX, you position yourself as a thought leader in the Salesforce ecosystem and share insights that help others solve complex challenges.

TDX 2026 Call for Participation- Key Dates You Should Know

    • CFP Opens: December 10, 2025
    • CFP Closes: February 13, 2026
    • Notifications: Accepted speakers will be notified on a rolling basis through March 2026
    • Event Dates: April 15–16, 2026
    • Location: April 15–16, 2026, in San Francisco (plus Salesforce+)

Keeping these dates in mind is essential if you’re planning to prepare a strong proposal and give yourself the best chance for acceptance.

What Topics Are Salesforce Looking For?

When preparing your session idea, focus on content that delivers technical depth, real-world application, and actionable takeaways. Some of the most compelling topic areas include:

    • Technical deep dives: Demonstrate your expertise with specific platform features, code patterns, or architectural best practices.
    • Pilot & beta experiences: Share lessons from early access programs or work with emerging Salesforce technologies.
    • Established tech with impact: Solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, integrations, and cross-cloud builds.
    • Cross-cloud stories: Real implementations that span multiple Salesforce platforms (e.g., Platform + Slack).

These sessions help the technical community grow by teaching practical skills that attendees can apply immediately.

    Choose the Right Session Format

TDX offers two main presentation formats. Understanding their differences helps you tailor your submission:

    1. Breakout Sessions (40 Minutes)

    • Deep technical content with time for audience questions.
    • Recommended structure: ~35 minutes of presentation + ~5 minutes of Q&A.
    • Up to three presenters can participate.
    1. Theater Sessions (20 Minutes)

    • Shorter format ideal for demos and focused topic overviews.
    • No live Q&A, but excellent for concise, high-impact content.
    • Up to two presenters per session.

Select the format that best showcases your content — deep explorations work well in Breakouts, while practical demos excel in Theater sessions.

How to Write a Standout CFP Submission

Great proposals have clear value, practical focus, and relatable real-world context. Here’s how to improve your chances:

    1. Craft a Clear, Technical Title

    • Use a verb + technology + benefit structure
    • Example: “Utilizing Parallel Subscriptions to Help with Your Agents.”
    1. Write a Compelling Abstract

    Your abstract should describe:

    • The problem or scenario
    • What you’ll demonstrate or explain
    • What the audience will learn or take away

Keep it concise but specific. Clarity and relevance matter more than creative flourishes.

    1. Highlight Real Use Cases

Reviewers prefer proposals that reflect real experience over generic conceptual content. Focus on your hands-on expertise and the impact of your solution.

If accepted, you will need to attend TDX 2026. Salesforce does not cover travel or lodging costs, so plan accordingly.

    Speaker Benefits & Support

Once your session is accepted, Salesforce equips you with resources to help you succeed:

    • Complimentary speaker pass for TDX 2026.
    • Access to a speakers-only Slack channel with updates and best practices.
    • Templates and guidance for your presentation deck.
    • Early confirmation helps you prepare ahead of the event.

Not Accepted? Other Ways to Share Your Knowledge

If your proposal isn’t picked this year, don’t worry, there are other ways to share your expertise:

    • Trailblazer Community Conferences
    • Trailblazer Community Group meetings
    • Local Salesforce events and virtual webinars.

Your expertise still matters. The Salesforce ecosystem thrives on shared knowledge and collaboration.

Ready to get started? Prepare your abstract, polish your technical narrative, and submit your proposal by February 13, 2026.
