The countdown to TDX Bengaluru 2025 has officially begun. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned Trailblazer, one thing is clear: being prepared can truly transform your event experience. TDX (TrailblazerDX) isn’t just another tech conference — it’s where innovation, learning, and the heart of the Salesforce community connect.

But if you want to get the most out of TDX, preparation is everything. From what’s in your backpack to how you set your goals, being ready can turn a good event experience into an unforgettable one.

Here’s my complete checklist for what I’m packing, planning, and prepping before stepping into the world of Salesforce innovation at TDX Bengaluru!

What I’m Packing

  1. Trailblazer Hoodie (and Light Layers)

The iconic Trailblazer hoodie is not just about swag, it’s a badge of honor. Plus, Bengaluru conference centers are usually air-conditioned to arctic levels, so packing a light jacket or hoodie is a smart move.
  2. Portable Charger + Charging Cables

Trust me: your devices will drain faster than you think between session photos, LinkedIn posts, scanning QR codes at booths, and session app usage. A good-quality power bank is essential.
  3. Refillable Water Bottle & Snacks

Stay energized! A refillable bottle saves you from dehydration and supports a greener event experience. Pack a few energy bites for those quick breaks between sessions.
  4. Business Cards & LinkedIn App Ready

Even in our digital age, a quick business card exchange (or scanning someone’s LinkedIn QR code) is the fastest way to connect. Update your LinkedIn profile before the event!
  5. Comfortable Footwear

You’ll be walking a lot across expo halls, lounges, and session areas. Sneakers or comfortable formal shoes are the way to go.
  6. Notebooks, Pens, or a Tablet

While taking photos of slides is great, sometimes quick handwritten notes capture ideas better. Plus, it helps during speaker Q&A sessions.
  7. Swag Bag Space

Leave some space in your bag, you’ll be collecting awesome stickers, T-shirts, gadgets, and more from the booths.

What I’m Planning

  1. Curating My Top Sessions List

With so many sessions happening across multiple tracks like AI, Flow, Industries, DevOps, and Career Development, I’m picking 5 must-attend sessions per day and making a backup plan in case rooms fill up.

  2. Setting Personal Event Goals

Instead of trying to attend everything, I’m setting 3 goals:

  • Learn about new AI innovations in Salesforce.
  • Meet at least 5 new people from the Salesforce community.
  • Visit and interact at 5+ product booths.
  1. Mapping the Venue Layout

A quick look at the conference map helps avoid getting lost, especially if the venue is large. I’ll mark key spots: keynote halls, breakout rooms, expo centers, lounge areas, and food courts.

  2. Prioritizing Networking Time

Building relationships is as important as learning sessions. I’m blocking time for community meetups, coffee chats, and even just casual conversations in hallways.

What I’m Prepping

  1. 30-Second Elevator Pitch

When someone asks, “What do you do?” I’ll be ready with a crisp introduction:
“I’m a Salesforce Developer specializing in automation with Flow and Einstein AI solutions, passionate about building customer-centric apps.”

  2. Smart Questions for Speakers and Experts

Instead of a generic “How is Salesforce evolving?”, I’m prepping focused questions like:

  • “How can small businesses effectively start with Agentforce?”
  • “What are the upcoming Flow innovations beyond what’s available now?”
This helps me get more valuable, tailored answers.
  1. Updated Salesforce Certifications and Skills Sheet

If I’m chatting with recruiters or partners at the expo, having a quick resume or a Salesforce certification summary ready could open new opportunities.

  2. Post-Event Follow-Up Plan

  • Connect with new contacts on LinkedIn within 48 hours.
  • Share a LinkedIn post reflecting on the top takeaways.
  • Set up quick follow-up meetings if potential collaborations arise.

Bonus Tips for TDX Bengaluru 2025

  • Stay active on social media: Use hashtags like #TDXBengaluru, #SalesforceIndia, and #TrailblazerDX to find meetups, giveaways, and pop-up sessions.
  • Be early for popular sessions: Some sessions (especially AI and Dev-focused ones) might fill up quickly — arrive early!
  • Take time to explore the expo: Product demos and partner booths often have hidden gems, free tools, and insider tips.
  • Celebrate wins: Whether it’s your first Salesforce keynote or meeting a #Dreamforce speaker, celebrate the small milestones.

See You at TDX Bengaluru!

TDX Bengaluru is more than an event, it’s a celebration of curiosity, community, and innovation. With the right preparation, you’re not just attending, you’re actively shaping your next chapter as a Trailblazer.

I’ll be there, soaking up the knowledge, connecting with inspiring people, and living the Ohana spirit. Hope to see you too!
