Over the last 15 years, the Salesforce MVP Program has become one of the most inspiring parts of the Salesforce ecosystem. What began as a small initiative to recognize standout contributors has evolved into a global celebration of leadership, generosity, and expertise. In 2025, this milestone not only honors the achievements of MVPs but also highlights the strength of the community that powers Salesforce forward. These MVPs aren’t just familiar faces in webinars or forums—they are the driving force behind shared learning, local events, and peer mentorship. This celebration is more than a reflection on the past—it’s a reminder of the lasting impact of people who lead with purpose, passion, and a commitment to helping others thrive.

What is the Salesforce MVP Program?

Launched in 2010 with just ten trailblazing individuals, the Salesforce MVP Program was designed to recognize professionals who go above and beyond in helping others succeed within the Salesforce ecosystem. These MVPs are not only experts in Salesforce products, but they’re also champions of community learning, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.

Unlike traditional recognition programs that focus on internal achievement, the MVP title is community-driven. Nominees are selected based on peer recommendations, real-world impact, and consistent engagement within the Trailblazer Community. Every year, these MVPs are re-evaluated based on their continued contributions, and those who serve for five or more years are inducted into the Salesforce MVP Hall of Fame.

    What Makes This Year Special?

2025 marks a major milestone—15 years since the MVP program was introduced. From just 10 MVPs in its first year to now over 500 Salesforce MVPs across more than 30 countries, the growth tells a story not just of expanding recognition but of deepening community impact.

Here’s what stood out in this year’s announcement:

    • 24 new MVPs joined the ranks, each bringing a fresh voice and unique perspective to the ecosystem.
    • A diverse group of returning MVPs showed consistency and a strong commitment to uplifting others.
    • 20 New Hall of Fame Salesforce MVPs were honored for their long-term service and influence across multiple Salesforce platforms and community spaces.

What’s remarkable is the diversity in background, region, and contribution styles. Whether it’s through blogging, speaking at community events, organizing user groups, or mentoring newbies, each MVP carves their path but shares a common goal: to make the Salesforce ecosystem stronger, smarter, and more inclusive.

Why the MVP Program Matters More Than Ever

Salesforce goes beyond being just a platform—it’s a vibrant, people-driven ecosystem. At the heart of it, MVPs shine as guiding lights, not only for their technical expertise but also for their roles as mentors, motivators, and community leaders.

    Here’s why their impact matters:

    1. They Democratize Knowledge

MVPs publish tutorials, record YouTube sessions, write blog posts, and answer hundreds of Trailblazer Community questions. They break down complicated subjects into easy-to-understand content, assisting many professionals, from new Admins to seasoned Architects.

    1. They Build Communities

From local meetups to Dreamin’ events, MVPs serve as the glue that keeps the ecosystem connected. Many are behind the scenes of successful community-led events, running them on volunteer hours and pure passion.

    1. They Mentor the Next Generation

Many MVPs go beyond content; they actively coach others. Through mentorship circles, one-on-one sessions, and community Slack channels, they empower emerging talent and underrepresented groups in tech.

    1. They Drive Real Innovation

As power users and early adopters, MVPs are often the first to explore new Salesforce features and provide feedback. This creates a critical feedback loop between users and product teams, driving enhancements that benefit everyone.

    Final Thoughts

The Salesforce MVP Program isn’t just a recognition platform—it’s a movement grounded in generosity, leadership, and authentic community spirit. As we celebrate 15 years of MVP excellence in 2025, it’s clear the program’s value goes far beyond the badge. It’s about nurturing a culture where doing well and doing good go hand in hand.

To every new, returning, and Hall of Fame MVP—thank you for showing what Trailblazing truly means. And to the broader ecosystem: your journey to MVP status might be closer than you think. Start where you are, use what you have, and lift others as you grow.
